Positions Available

Position 1: Load Prep and relief driver – MR licence preferred however full manual Car license considered.   This position is suitable for someone who has recently gained their MR licence, or is working towards their MR license. This role is for those wanting to develop into a full-time driver however it could also be suitable for a driver looking to reduce hours in the truck but still work full-time.   Duties are varied and may range from selecting building products, mainly timber roof trusses, ancillaries and flooring products, from a picking list and onto the loading dock for the next delivery run; driving a ute to deliver small items; driving an escort vehicle for oversized loads; assisting other drivers when required eg for “spotting”. Training will be given.   A High Risk forklift licence and a white card are highly desirable. This position could also suit someone with previous timber working or warehousing experience.   Positions 2 & 3: HC Driver. These roles are for drivers experienced with delivering long or oversized loads to construction sites.   A High Risk forklift license is highly desirable as is a Dogging (DG) and a CV or higher mobile slewing crane licence.    Our drivers load and unload their own loads which can often take longer than the actual driving time. They must be physically fit and some climbing is necessary. Regardless of prior experience you will still receive product and procedures training and be assigned a buddy when you start.    All deliveries are within ACT and nearby NSW districts ensuring you are home for dinner each night. We consider our drivers to be the representatives of our company and as such we require our drivers to provide a high level of customer service and have a can-do attitude.
