Revolution Driver Training commenced operations in 2020.
While it is relatively new in Canberra, it is part of The Road Ready Centre operations, which is a premiere road safety training and education organisation, operating since the year 2000.
The Road Ready Centre are experts in road safety education design and delivery and have the most in depth knowledge in the ACT of the issues learner and provisional drivers face, and what leads to them becoming involved in crashes.
This expertise allows us to educate our driving instructors better and help them to prepare learner drivers for safe solo driving and avoid being involved in incidents on the road.
The Road Ready Centre is working to build the Revolution Driver Training business, to ensure we have a team of highly expert driving instructors with diverse backgrounds reflective of our community, achieve the highest quality standards we can, a high quality of customer service and very importantly the highest quality of driving instruction delivered in the ACT.
Revolution Driver Training aligns with the values of The Road Ready Centre, which is to reduce road trauma to the Australian community through quality road safety education and training.
This value is at our core and drives everything we do.
It is our goal to ensure that every new driver is given as much attention, motivation, skills and confidence to enable them to successfully commence their driving career.
Developed by the OzHelp Foundation, in collaboration with truck drivers and the transport community, Health in Gear has been created to support the health and wellbeing of truck drivers on the road and at home.
Nationally, truck drivers represent the second highest occupational group, after construction workers, at risk of suicide. With this in mind, the program has designed support focused on the health and wellbeing of truck drivers and their families. This includes health tips for staying well, roadside Truckie Tune Up health checks, a free phone support and counselling services and the Share the Load podcast.
The initiative aims to get drivers thinking about how small actions can make a big difference, helping them stay mentally and physically healthy, while keeping the wheels turning too!
